NBBA Presidential Announcement; August 14, 2025
My fellow members of the National Beep Baseball Association,
It is with great pride and gratitude that I share my positive reflection on the remarkable achievements of our community over the past year. Together, we have demonstrated the power of unity, generosity, and innovation, ensuring that the spirit of beep baseball continues to thrive.
A Year of Generosity and Growth
The spirit of giving has shone brightly within our association. Since October of last year, we have raised over $20,000, thanks to the unwavering support of our sponsors: Delta Gamma Foundation, Blind Institute of Technology, VisionCorps, and Austin Lighthouse. Their contributions made our World Series programming a resounding success.
I am also proud to recognize the dedication of our board. Several of our board members stepped up to raise $500 or more in grants, secure financial sponsorships, and support initiatives like our Sponsor A Ball campaign. To every individual who contributed to our World Series fundraisers, Giving Tuesday campaign, and Facebook birthday initiatives, your efforts have not gone unnoticed.
In our commitment to efficiency and cost savings, we are thrilled to announce that the NBBA now accepts electronic payments through Zeffy, a secure and fee-free platform. This innovation has already saved us a few thousand dollars in processing fees, with 16 teams opting for online payments this year.
A Community United by Passion
Our members have embraced the joy of beep baseball year-round, creating unforgettable memories across the nation for each other:
● Texas Shootout in Tyler, camaraderie and barbecue to kick off the season.
● All-Star Showcase in San Antonio, celebrated the best of beep baseball.
● 3 Amigo Scramble in Austin, brave souls battled the winter cold.
● Aggie Land at the BCS Outlaws event, Texas teams showcased their talent.
● Viva Las BeepBall Invitational, welcomed 6 teams, including 2 all-female squads, marking a milestone for inclusivity.
● Hitters & Heroes tournament hosted by the Indy Edge, honored our troops.
● Sooner State Classic, brought together 6 teams under the Oklahoma sky.
● 25th annual Indy Bonanza and Boling Brook Bash, 8 teams each, while the Beast of the East capped off June with fierce competition.
Overcoming Challenges, Celebrating Success
Alongside our co-hosts, MindsEye and Lighthouse for the Blind St. Louis, our Tournament Committee worked tirelessly to address challenges, including field complex changes and extreme heat, ensuring a smooth experience for 19 teams across 2 locations at our World Series.
We were honored to host our Women of Our League all-female game, the Kids of Our League try-beep baseball clinic, Game of the Day livestreams on YouTube, we welcomed back Taiwan Homerun, and connected with new members from Puerto Rico and Mexico, further enriching our global community.
In a testament to our democratic spirit, 5 new board members were elected, bringing fresh perspectives to our leadership. Additionally, we implemented a safe text-line for off-field concerns, a proactive measure that, thankfully, remained unused this year.

Looking Ahead
Tom Brady says, “You have to believe in your process. You have to believe in the things that you’re doing to help the team win.” As we move into our 50th year as an organization, let us continue to champion inclusivity, innovation, and the sheer joy of beep baseball. Together, we are not just a community; we are a family.
Thank you, and may the spirit of the game guide us into another extraordinary year.
Onward & Forward,
Richie Flores
President of the National Beep Baseball Association
