The National Beep Baseball Association -- Wednesday, October 24, 2012 The National Beep Baseball Association from October 24-28, 2012, will be taking part at the National Industries for the Blind annual convention being held in Baltimore Maryland.

Kevin Burton, a long time member of the NBBA will be receiving the 2012 Milton J. Samuelson Career Achievement Award.
Milton J. Samuelson was the longtime Executive Director at the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind and a nationally-known innovator in developing programs for the blind.
Member agencies of the National Industries for the Blind nominate workers each year for this high honor. A panel from the National Industries for the Blind headquarters then selects the award recipient.

Kevin Burton stated, "My passion for career development for the blind is equal to my passion for Beep Baseball. My goal is to increase the earning potential of blind workers. This award is a great honor and a wonderful opportunity for me to point out the capabilities of blind professionals."

The NBBA will also be showcasing Beep Baseball in the exhibit hall. If you are going to attend the convention, visit the NBBA at booth 607.
