2012 NBBA Nubson Grant

The enrollment period for the 2012 Nubson team grant program is now closed. This grant is made possible through the generosity of the Nubson family, and the National Beep Baseball Association. It is presented each year to selected teams of the NBBA, to assist with the financial burdens of running a beep baseball team.

Grant Recipients Announced

The drawing for the 2012 NBBA Nubson grants was held on Saturday, March 24 2012, at the spring board meeting in Ames Iowa. After the treasurer reported the current Nubson fund balance, it was determined that there would be 3 $1000 awards in 2012. For information on how the number of awards is calculated, see the grant documentation link at the bottom of this page.

The drawing was witnessed by the entire NBBA board. The three teams drawn by board director Giovanni Francese were:

Congratulations to the three grant recipients, and thanks to all the teams who participated in the grant program in 2012. The three 2012 recipients are ineligible for the grant in 2013, and if they do not attend nationals in 2012, they will be ineligible for the grant in 2014 as well.

Starting in 2013, it will no longer be necessary for a team to send an email to the NBBA president as part of the grant registration process. Simply paying your NBBA team membership of $25 prior to March 1 will enter any eligible team in the grant process. Best of luck to everyone in 2012.
